Formerly a ready-mix delivery company, founded in 1959 by Silas DeKalita after his return from the Korean War. We provided ready-mix concrete to local contractors and homeowners in the Mid-Michigan area.
1994
In 1994, after the passing of founder Silas DeKalita, his son Samuel DeKalita took the lead. He guided the company into the new millennium with a blend of reverence for tradition and a bold vision for the future.
2008
Seeking a different challenge in 2008, we left ready-mix to master commercial and residential concrete installation techniques. Under the leadership of Samuel DeKalita the company entered a new era of innovation and growth. Under his leadership, the company expanded its operations, embraced emerging technologies, and navigated the rapidly changing business landscape.
2025
With a commitment to quality craftsmanship and more than 15 years of concrete installation experience, Samuel's vision and strategic initiatives not only solidified the company's position in the industry but also paved the way for continued success for the next generation.
